Our Story

In the Spring of 2019, we fulfilled a lifelong dream and planted our first grape vine. With over 10 acres planted since, our desire has been reinforced to capture the beauty of northern Hunterdon County in a bottle. A spinal surgeon by trade, our owner’s similarly methodical and precise approach to vineyard and winery establishment has created the perfect setting to push the wines of New Jersey forward. In 2020, we partnered with winemaker Conor Quilty to translate our ambitions into reality, and thus, with endless help from our crew and community, Meadowbrook Winery was born.

Our Winemaker

Throughout his years in the industry, Conor has honed his focus to look at wine from a vine to bottle perspective. His dream of combining his scientific and creative pursuits led him to viticultural and production experiences in the Alexander Mountains, Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Coast, and McLaren Vale before planting his roots in the East Coast wine scene. Before partnering with us, Conor worked as the winemaker of Unionville Vineyards for five years, overseeing farming and production of one of the highest-regarded portfolios in the state. At the helm of Meadowbrook, he hopes to create and grow a lasting brand known for its exemplary product, while also continuing to elevate the reputation of New Jersey and East Coast wine.
